Teva Animal Health, Inc., (TAH) is very pleased to introduce a new product to its DVM Pharmaceuticals line of dermatologicals. ChlorhexiDerm® Maximum HC Shampoo is a full strength antimicrobial, antipruritic, shampoo combining 4% Chlorhexidine and 1% Hydrocortisone in an innovative, vehicle-enhanced formulation for the effective topical management of mild to severe dermatologic conditions in dogs, cats and horses. The persistent antimicrobial activity of Chlorhexidine combined with the sustained antipruritic and anti-inflammatory effect of hydrocortisone in an innovative, vehicle-enhance shampoo preparation for the effective management of skin infections in dogs, cats and horses.
- Recommended for the topical management of mild to severe dermatologic conditions requiring a full-strength antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory cleansing and deodorizing shampoo
- Formulated with 4% Chlorhexidine Gluconate
o Broad-spectrum efficacy against a wide range of microbial pathogens:
- Bacteria (both Gram Negative & Gram Positive)

o Potent topical residual activity – binds to skin without systemic absorption to reduce pathogenic recolonization
